  1. QDockWidget (Dockable Panels)

When to use

  • Navigator panel

  • Properties panel

  • Log panel

  • Any side panel

  1. QGroupBox (Visual Grouping)

When to use

  • Group related controls

  • Settings sections

  • Form sections

  • Group margins: 11px
